Recap of Dmexco 2015: The Digital Marketing Mecca!
This week went by quickly, and oh what a week it was! Joinville flew out to Cologne earlier this week to attend Dmexco 2015. With roughly 43,000 visitors, Cologne was most definitely the mecca of digital advertising this week. That is not including the 881 exhibitors and 500 speakers that were in attendance as well, even though we knew Dmexco 2015 would be huge!
While attempting to find your way around the colossal Koelnmesse, booths both large and small appeared all of the expo floor (including AppNexus, Google, Pubmatic, Rubicon and Facebook), many of them with giant posters of company names and a word cloud of buzz words to describe their craft. Buzz words are often times very tiring in this industry, but luckily the exhibitors at Dmexco were top notch enough to live up to them. If networking and the hum of the 43,000 visitors does’t sound like your thing, Dmexco provided some extremely interesting seminars for all walks of life within the digital marketing and ad tech world. Sometimes we even felt slightly overwhelmed at the back to back awesomeness of seminars available, with speakers such as Brian Boland (Facebook), Laura Desmond (Starcom), Rajeev Goel (Pubmatic), Jonathan Wolf (Criteo), Sarah Mansfield (Unilever), David Shing (AOL) and so many more (click here for the rest of the speakers list). Enjoy our photo recap of the past few days, and to see all of the photos then head on over to our Flickr account where we will also continue to post images from future events!
